“Where I live, I see nearly every skin color or minority group living mostly in peace amongst each other. It’s powerful to see couples who exemplify the diversity of the human race. Straight couples, two men, two women, all kind of races combined together, a Muslim holding hands with a Christian, I could go on. Seeing this cohesion of groups in one place really inspires me every day. Even though we aren’t quite to the point where I can leave out the word 'mostly,’ I think we are heading in a more peaceful direction.”

“I think we need more open conversations and less people assuming.”

“I don’t think it matters if it’s a dad and a mom, just that kids have parents who love them.”

“I wrote that I was gay, and that people should be more respectful to each other even if they are different.”
