FREIKE

“I wish people didn’t have to hide in the closet because they feel they’re not accepted. I wish we could do what my shirt says and break the stereotype. Because I have short hair and I do kickboxing, people think that I am boyish. But I can wear dresses and fall in love with boys, too. What I look like does not immediately make me gay, lesbian or bisexual. Sexuality cannot be defined by looks or hobbies. There’s no one way a gay person looks. It’s not based on appearance.”

“Making our relationship ‘Facebook official’ was the first thing I had posted in years.”

“We don’t have to be the same.”

“I felt from the beginning that I wanted to fight for this issue and try to make the world a bit more human.”
